Judge Martin Armajo Sr. was born in Lander, Wyoming and raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Judge Armajo Attended the Indian Police Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia New Mexico, and the Criminal Investigation Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. Judge Armajo has over 18 year of Law Enforcement experience. Judge Armajo has served as a Police Officer with the Wind River Police Department, Game Warden with the Shoshone and Arapaho Fish and Game, and was also a Special Agent with Bureau of Indian Affairs Division of Drug Enforcement. Judge Armajo currently serves as an Associate Judge with the Wind River Tribal Court and is an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
